Hi, I am Jeane and I have spent over 25 years as an infant care RN, mostly in the NICU and am certified as a Low Risk Maternal-Infant care nurse. After some soul-searching about my true career passion, I have discovered that I am the most enthusiastic about helping mamas with breastfeeding. I breastfed both my daughters for over a year and if I had known then what I know now, I would have breastfed them longer!
Over the years, I have been called upon in informal ways to use my skills with breastfeeding to help the new mamas in my life get started with breastfeeding. I have helped them navigate their way as they actualized their own goals for breastfeeding. Each mom should develop her own goals that suit her desires and lifestyle. Once I decided to change the focus of my career from NICU to lactation support, I acquired the necessary education to sit for the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant exam. I am proud to say that I am now a licensed IBCLC.
Breastfeeding is often depicted as a simple method of feeding your newborn. It is a natural process, but may not go smoothly at first. It is completely normal to have challenges in the beginning, but with the right kind of support those challenges can be overcome. It’s my goal to be just that right support!
My Mission: To bring babies and their moms together in a way that nurtures both their bodies and souls.
During our prenatal consult, we will discuss your breastfeeding goals, your health history (including a brief breast exam) and how it may impact breastfeeding, and some common hiccups with breastfeeding often encountered in those first few days after birth. We can also review your pump and assess your flanges for a proper fit.
This visit involves an assessment of both mother and baby. It will include observation of a feeding, complete with pre and post weights to assess volume of milk transferred. An assessment of the baby’s mouth and the latch will be done, as well as an examination of mother’s breasts for issues with soreness. This is a great time to ask questions and know that you won’t have been the first mom to ask them!
A follow up visit may be necessary, as issues can arise even after a good breast feeding rhythm is established. This type of visit can also be used for information on pumping for returning to work. If you are pumping milk for a NICU baby and need advice about pumping schedule, milk storage and supply concerns, this is a visit you’d benefit from!
Initial In-home consult (120 min) $250
Follow-up (75-90 min) $175
Payment is due at the beginning of each visit. I accept Zelle, Venmo, exact cash and credit cards as means of payment. Prepaid Packages are available.

Jeane came to my aid for both of our babies and I can say with all honesty, if it wasn’t for her, I probably would have given up. She was gentle and kind, she was knowledgeable and resourceful and most of all, she was encouraging. When I thought I couldn’t, she helped me realize I could. I highly recommend Jeane to any new or seasoned mama needing help with lactation!

Jeane is truly a God send! I cannot thank her enough for her wisdom, knowledge, and support. Before my delivery, I was terrified to breastfeed and was just going to pump. She met me where I was at and eventually when I wanted to breastfeed, made the process so easy and comfortable. She is the perfect mix between professional and motherly, and made breastfeeding such a joyous experience. It is apparent she is passionate about helping women like myself learn just how wonderful breastfeeding can be! I have such gratitude for Jeane. She was available to answer questions, give advice, and ultimately be a huge support in navigating breastfeeding. I would recommend her to anyone who is nervous to breastfeed like I was; she is/was an absolute blessing to my whole family!
